In this 3 week Fundamentals Course we will cover the fundamentals of a Yoga practice – the common postures and movements you may expect to encounter in any Yoga class.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate Yogis these sessions will break down the common poses and the commonly encountered mis-alignments and imprecise habits that often sneak into our practice.
The course is progressive, progressing from Sun Salutations through standing postures, some standing balances, and culminating in seated Asana and inversions.
You may attend 1, 2 or all 3 of the sessions, but bookings required as spaces are limited to ensure a good student to teacher ratio.
Each session commences with a warming, limbering practice before moving into the fundamentals.
– Sun Salutation A & B
(incorporating Chaturanga, upward & Downward Facing Dog, Anjayasana, Virabhadrasana 1, and the Vinyasa movement)

– Side angle pose
– Standing balances: Virabhadrasana 3 (warrior 3) & Arda Chandrasana (half moon)
– Recap week 2
– seated poses: paschimottanasana, seated twist variations
– supine spinal twists
– Inversions: Bridge pose & Shoulder Stand
