Founded by a husband and wife team ( Grant and Yanti), Smith Street Yoga Studio is a dream come true. Coming from different backgrounds, Holistic Health & Martial Arts, and Events & Hospitality, they share the same vision; To create a space for people to grow, to heal and not only reconnect with, but to become who they really are.
It is a space where community is built, where joy, laughter and even tears are shared without judgement, in a compassionate setting. It is a space where we share the journey of yoga together, as One.
We offer a variety of classes, from Ashtanga to Vinyasa, from Restorative to Yin, and on behalf of Lianne Metcalf and The SomaChi Association, are proud to present the unique SomaChi style.
We also provide training in a traditional Martial Art, Silat Perisai Diri.
WHERE TO FIND US
We are located at Level 1, 281 Smith Street (above Nando’s, close to Woolworths, next to Organic Wholefoods, and almost opposite Friends of the Earth) on the corner of Smith Street and Greeves Street.
You will find our entrance via the purple door on Greeves Street – look for the Smith Street Yoga Studio signs!
PARKING / HOW TO GET HERE
Parking is available on Greeves St and Smith St, during business hours most of these spots are paid, however there is a dearth of free parking in Woolworths and surrounding streets, especially on weekends or after hours.
Tram 86 goes right past our front door, utilising either Johnston St or Hodgson St stops, and we are a 10 minute walk from either Collingwood or Victoria Park train stations.
