Smith Street Yoga Studio was created in 2017 and used to be located in the heart of Smith St in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

Unfortunately since the Covid19 pandemic hit the world, with a sad heart we have decided to close our beautiful physical studio in Fitzroy for good. We then have fully shifted our offerings online, both live stream and video on demand classes. Classes are delivered directly from our home studio to yours.

We offer a variety of classes, from Slow Flow to Vinyasa, from Restorative to Yin, and on behalf of Lianne Metcalf and The SomaChi Association, are proud to present the unique SomaChi style.

We also provide private and corporate classes by request.

Live stream classes – how to participate

  • All live-stream classes are delivered via Zoom
  • Book the class maximum 30 minutes prior to the class commencing
  • Booking can be done via the Mindbody app or the time table on our website
  • Zoom link will be emailed minimum 30 minutes before class starts ( the link will be sent by Fitgrid, please save hello@fitgrid.com on your email contact)
  • Prepare a comfortable space for your yoga practice ( including yoga mat and any props you may have). A quiet place will be useful
  • Make sure you have a good internet connection and your webcam/phone camera is on.  You do not need to have your video on, but the teacher will be able to see you if you do
  • See you online!
